In the summer of 2017, Renaissance Men recorded our debut record, RenMen Laments, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York. To thank the Buffalo community for making us feel so welcome, we return to Buffalo for a concert of our first album, cover to cover! Music by Casals, Milhaud, and Van Ness. Thomas Tallis's Lamentations of Jeremiah, in a new ten-voice version and with RenMen's brand of epic polyphonic singing. And, the New York premiere of The Promises of Isaiah the Prophet comissioned by Renaissance Men and composed by our composer-in-residence, Daniel E. Gawthrop.
